Travel Grants

There are a number of possible sources of travel funding, particularly for PhD students, to attend NanoteC:

British Carbon Group Travel Bursaries

UK students and / or BCG members may be eligible for British Carbon Group travel bursaries towards their travel expenses. A condition of acceptance is that the student must write a short piece for the British Carbon Group newsletter, either on the subject of their research area or the conference for which the award is given. Further details are available from the link on the British Carbon Group Website.

European Carbon Group Travel

If you are based in another European country beside the UK, your national Carbon group may also offer bursaries. The European carbon groups are linked from here.

If you are aware of other travel award and bursary schemes, please contact us and we will add them here.
