By Air
Direct scheduled flights to Aberdeen Airport are available from the following international destinations:

Paris Amsterdam Malaga
Dublin Copenhagen Esbjerg
Groningen Kristiansund Oslo
Stavanger Bergen
Additional scheduled services may be added for the summer period.

Direct scheduled flights are also available from the following UK international arrival airports:

London Heathrow
London Gatwick
London Luton
Birmingham
Manchester

... and from 17 other UK airports.

There is also daily flights between London City and Dundee (followed by public transport (rail or bus) to Aberdeen).

Those arriving into Glasgow or Edinburgh airports should make their way to the city centre using the bus connections and then travel onward to Aberdeen by regular Scotrail train service from Glasgow (Queen Street Station) or Edinburgh (Waverley or Haymarket Stations).

At the airport, taxis are always available and the fare into the City is approximately £12.00.

On Saturday, three scheduled bus services are available from the airport. 'Stagecoach Bluebird' service 737 runs hourly to the central bus station via The Robert Gordon University (ask to alight at Blackfriars). Service 30 also runs hourly to the central bus station via the western side of the City and Union Street (convenient for certain hotels). On each of these buses you pay the driver, and the current fare is £1.40. First Bus route 27 also runs via Union Street: on this service the exact fare must be given as no change is available on the bus. The current fare is displayed on the bus stand outside the airport, which serves all routes. On exiting the airport building, cross one lane of traffic and then turn to your right to reach the bus stand.

On Sunday, the only public bus available is route 737 (hourly).

When taking a service bus from the airport, please ensure that it is travelling into the City and is not on an out-bound journey, since all buses stop in the same place, irrespective of their direction of travel!

Train
Aberdeen is served by direct trains from London Kings Cross. Trains from London Euston require a change at Glasgow.

From the rail station, most destinations are within walking distance or taxis are available at the station exit.

Taxis are available at the rail station, although it is only a short walk to the conference reception:
proceed north (in the direction your train was running) across the concourse, following signs through a car park and a short tunnel to a walkway and steps leading to a shopping centre. Upon reaching the main road (Union Street), cross over and enter the street opposite and a little to the right, which emerges in Schoolhill opposite the conference reception.

Car
Delegates intending to arrive by car are advised that parking in central Aberdeen is extremely limited. Hotels also have only limited parking and there is NO parking available to delegates at The Robert Gordon University.
